Mission Statement
The purpose of the Madison Senior Center is to enhance the well-being of the area senior citizens by providing and advertising educational, social, recreational, and assistance programs tailored to their specialized needs. This purpose will be facilitated:
By providing programs for entertainment and the practice of arts and crafts;
By providing counseling and referral to other agencies as required to address problems specific to senior citizens;
By providing classes and activities which will make individuals’ leisure time more fruitful and satisfying;
By providing supervised exercise, health screenings, and physical health related programs;
By cooperating with various social agencies in the promotion of the well being of senior citizens and by supporting community programs dedicated to this end;
By supporting legislation that is beneficial to the programming and purpose of the Madison Senior Center;
By doing or causing to be done, any other acts as may be required by or incidental to the fulfillment of the stated purpose.

The Madison Senior Center is funded and supported by the Lake County Senior Citizens Service Levy, Madison Village, and Madison Township.
